What is the Seedance 2.0 Fast AI video generator?

Seedance 2.0 Fast is a route for working through a video idea with text, an opening image or several references. In EveryGen AI it offers 480p and 720p output, four-to-fifteen-second durations and a generated-audio switch. Start with a short shot that answers one question: does the movement, staging or mood work for this idea?

The Fast name identifies the provider variant; it is not a guaranteed completion time. Its fixed credit table lets you compare the cost of revising a five-second shot with a longer request. Once the composition works, use the same brief to compare another route if you need an output size that this workspace does not expose.

THE POSSIBILITIES

Seedance 2.0 Fast features, in practice.

Choose the input that fits your idea, then shape the motion. Clips below are local sample footage for the layout.

01 / CREATIVE CONTROL

Text to video for a first direction

Write the action you want the viewer to notice first. Keep the setting and camera movement simple, and use the first take to assess the idea rather than asking for a complete edited advertisement. The four-to-fifteen-second selection gives you room to choose the smallest clip that still communicates the action.

A five-second 720p request has its own fixed estimate; changing duration refreshes it.

Reuse a frame or a reference collection

Image mode can start from a first frame, while reference mode is useful when a subject, room and motion have separate sources. First and last frames describe endpoints. Additional image references describe appearance. Pick the appropriate control before uploading so the files are sent with the intended roles.

Fast keeps the reference workflow while limiting the requested output sizes to 480p and 720p.

Keep picture and sound revisions understandable

Use the generated-audio option when ambience or a simple sound event helps explain the action. Describe the event alongside the picture, then listen for timing and unwanted voices when reviewing a result. Keep a silent version in mind if your production needs separately recorded speech, music or a precise sound mix.

Change one element of the brief at a time; more prompt adjectives do not substitute for a clear shot.

FROM IDEA TO A TAKE

How to use Seedance 2.0 Fast.

A clear starting point, a focused brief and settings you can review before submitting.

  1. Choose your starting point

Open Seedance 2.0 Fast in the generator above. Choose Text to video for a written scene or Image to video when you have an opening composition. Choose Multi-reference when several files have distinct roles.

  2. Build a focused scene brief

Write the subject, action, camera direction and lighting. In image mode, add a first frame and an optional compatible last frame. If using appearance references, select the reference-image control and assign roles to up to 9 images.

  3. Set the format and review credits

Choose 480p or 720p output. Pick a supported duration from 4 to 15 seconds. Set the aspect ratio for the destination. Review the estimate after changing a setting or adding a reference clip.

  4. Generate, review and refine

When generation is enabled, submit after reviewing the brief and content checks. Track the request in Recent takes. Review the full clip for subject details, continuity and sound, then download a useful result or change one part of the brief for the next take.

A quiet roadside moment

Two travelers pause beside a quiet roadside stop at dusk. A slow camera push brings their faces into a medium shot. Warm overhead lighting and cool evening sky, natural posture, one continuous take. Keep the background vehicles stationary. No text or fast cuts.

Use this to compare lighting or camera pace while keeping the subject unchanged.

Add motion to an opening photograph

Use the uploaded photograph as the opening composition. The subject looks toward the light and makes one small natural gesture. Move the camera gently to the right while keeping the face and clothing recognizable. Maintain the setting and avoid adding props or changing the outfit.

Supply a clear first frame. Add a last frame only when you have a deliberate destination for the move.

PUT THE SHOT TO WORK

Ways to create with Seedance 2.0 Fast.

Start with the job the clip needs to do. Keep final editing and a full review in your workflow.

01

Testing a social opening

Try one visible gesture or reveal in a vertical frame. Check whether it reads immediately before adding more movement or expanding the duration.

02

Comparing camera directions

Keep the subject and scene fixed while testing a pan against a tracking move. Record the setup so the next comparison is based on one change.

03

An early advertising concept

Explore lighting and subject placement for a short product moment. Treat exact logos, text and final layout as separate production work.

BEFORE YOUR NEXT TAKE

Choose the iteration question first

Decide whether you are testing motion, lighting or framing. Keep the other decisions stable. This makes a second request easier to evaluate and avoids paying for a different scene that no longer answers the original question.

Plan a route change when resolution matters

This Fast configuration stops at 720p. Open the Seedance 2.0 page if you want to compare its additional size options. A larger requested output is a separate configuration and quote, not a promise that an existing finished clip will be upscaled.

BEFORE YOU CREATE

Seedance 2.0 Fast FAQ.

Inputs, output settings and credit rules for this workspace.

Can Seedance 2.0 Fast generate video from text or an image?

Text to video is supported: describe a scene and its movement. First frame + optional last frame are supported in image mode. A separate reference-image control accepts up to 9 images for appearance guidance.

Which duration and resolution can I choose for Seedance 2.0 Fast?

480p, 720p output is offered with durations from 4 to 15 seconds. The controls above use these same settings. A resolution selection describes the requested output and does not guarantee native detail or readable small text.

Can I upload reference videos or audio?

Multi-reference mode exposes up to 9 image, 3 video and 3 audio references. Explain each file's role in the prompt. Video-reference duration changes the estimate; inspect the quote after uploads are processed.

How are video-generation credits calculated?

The credit table below the controls section lists this model's fixed rates for every supported output size. Some routes charge per request and others by duration. A content-check allowance is included once. Use Review credit estimate in the generator for the actual settings and uploaded reference duration before submitting.

Does Seedance 2.0 Fast include generated sound?

This route has an optional generated-audio control under Audio, seed & camera. Describe relevant ambience or effects in the brief, then listen to the full result. Sound generation does not replace a final voice recording or music mix.

What happens during content checks or a failed request?

Prompts and image references are checked before submission. A rejection or unavailable check stops submission. These checks do not audit reference-video frames or audio tracks. Confirmed failed tasks release reserved credits once; an uncertain submission remains under review to avoid duplicate requests.

Are these videos results from the example prompts?

The current clips are local sample footage used to demonstrate the layout. They are not outputs from the displayed prompts, model benchmarks or evidence of a specific model's quality. Example prompts are editable starting points; image and reference examples require your own uploads.
